A family photo shoot, brings you all together. It reminds your family of its love for one another. Your family portraits bring joy. And, in hard times, your family portraits can bring comfort and can heal.
I love simple family photography, that captures the essence of the individuals and the dynamics of a family group. My aim in family portraiture, is to create honest images that portray the raw emotion and nuance of a person/people in that moment.
Within a typical session, I may do some more 'posed' images, just to get everyone in the same shot, but a lot of the time, I'll observe the ways a family interacts naturally together and will get ideas from being with you. I'll get you to move around and have fun, while I do what I love to do ... click away....
